I started my hockey career with the roller hockey and what was in the ice. I have not been on skates in four years. I'm a goalkeeper. I have a bunch of friends of the new girl ice hockey, and some of them play Roller Hockey. They go to Jr. Olympics the end of July. They need me to be their goalie! Eek! I accepted because I will not let my girls down. However, ice and roller skates are two things. I was playing roller hockey open once a week for about a month, it's hard. I have many questions: Is it easier to work with small wheels I? If considering goalie inline skates? What should I wear under my pads? How can form about this? What techniques should I worry? As someone who has played roller hockey competition before, I can not answer your questions. Your best bet is to goalie skates and smaller wheels. Wear pants hockey skates under your leg, making sure the bottom of pants have some slack in the movement. Ice gear is fine if you play on SportCourt. Your footwork is different.
